NuRAD transposing, but transpose setting not set

My NuRAD, even though the transpose display says the key is in Eb, it plays in the key of C. I have made no adjustments to anything on my external synth or the NuRAD . I have done a factory reset twice. I have played 2 jobs with it . I factory reset and tested it at home in Eb before the gig.. When I started playing it alas it was back in C .The last factory reset made each note play portamento. I don't want to touch any setting in case I changed something .

Make sure none of your Pinky keys are touch other pinky keys.
