Can the screws that hold down the keys be removed

Can the screws that hold down the keys be removed without releasing anything below the surface? Are there nuts on the screws or are they screwed into plastic?

The keys are intended to be easily removable (without a nut or something underneath falling and rattling inside). The Pinky keys are printed using a conductive PLA. You can custom 3D print versions that better fit your hands.
