confused between the CVC and CVC+CVX option

I'm a little confused between the CVC and CVC+CVX option for the Berglund Instruments Gray Mini -- is there a resource that explains that difference?

Currently there are two Berglund custom Eurorack modules (CVX, CVC). The NuRAD/NuEVI uses two of the unused pins (from the 5pin MIDI out) to send out the CV signal for note and breath. The CVX module processes this signal for separate outputs for Eurorack modules (note, breath). the CVC module provides essentially a MIDI through (in case you want to additionally simultaneously send the standard MIDI data to another sound module). The two versions of the Gray Mini either have one or both of these two Berglund Instruments Eurorack modules in addition to the Behringer 110 module.

Does that mean that without the CVX module, the Nurad cannot transmit CV data to an analog synthesizer?

The NuRAD has 1 onboard CV output (for Breath CV only) .. see page 6 (#21) of the users guide:

https://berglundinstruments.com/downloa ... v1.6.1.pdf

This onboard CV output can be directly connected to any analog synth (that can accept CV inputs)

But, without the CVX module, you cannot gain access to both Breath & Note CV.

Do the CV signals on the un-used MIDI pins transmit over wireless technologies?

Really good question. No, the CV signals are analog signals and will be ignored by standard MIDI devices (basic synths, wireless MIDI tech, etc).
