I want to use it to trigger certain things in SWAM. I can successfully assign it in SWAM but I can’t figure out how to get rid of what it is doing. It currently plays an arpeggio when activated. I have both EXTCT CC A and B turned to off.

For the extra controller, check the settings for EXCT in SETUP CTL menu. If you get something like an arpeggio it’s probably the EXCT HARM setting that’s active and needs to be set to OFF in that case.
