Octave keys are glitching after performing a factory reset.

After performing a factory reset, the octave roller is being what I can only describe as 'flakey'. Sometimes the octave changes, sometimes it stays the same, sometimes it swings between the octave I want and another octave to the point that it is unplayable.

As explained in the operating manual, while performing a factory reset, it is important to not be touching any keys. The factory reset runs through a process of auto-sensing stasis values of all the keys and sensors.
For example if you are touching a key while it is performing, you will notice the following:
[ Adjust -> Touch ]
The threshold will be auto-set (all the way to the left).
THR [| ]
SNS | .... |
Where as typical threshold setting should be more like:
THR [ | ]
SNS | .... |
With the threshold set [ all the way to the left ] .. it causes the touch points (when touched) to hover too closely near the threshold .. it's best to have a clean distance before and after the threshold (so the touch points are clearly beyond the threshold when in stasis and well past the threshold (when touched)).
THR [ <--- | -> ]
SNS | . .... | (key touched)

This is the reason for not touching any keys while the factory reset is being performed. This should correct your octave/keys glitching.
