Lever sensor adjust

I think I fully understand the ADJUST parameters on all sensors except I'm needing just a little help on the lever adjust ... because there is positive and negative direction on the lever ,.. I'm wondering if you can help me understand just a bit more clearly the relationship between threshold, max and sensitivity on the lever? I'm needing to make the lever just a bit more sensitive (or at least understand how to make it more so) ... ?

When using the lever for CC or glide control it's unidirectional, working only in push forward/down direction. The positive/negative thing only comes in use for the vibrato, and then it's handled by the vibrato algorithm (and corresponding vibrato settings), and not at all affected by the threshold/max adjustments.
