Re: Difficulty with BRTH CC A settings
Sounds like a matter of synth programming, where the envelope generator (ADSR) and the velocity is controlling the sound instead of letting the breath control the vca or filter cutoff. A good starting point for a breath controlled sound is to set the VCA EG to short but not zero attack, zero decay, ...

Re: How do I swap the standard mouthpiece with one that comes with the Alt MPC Kit.
Follow these steps: 1. Remove the two black tubes from behind the current multi-sensor mouthpiece. Note that the two black tubes will have short [ sizer transparent tubes ] over the top of them. Be sure that the short transparent tubes stay on the black tubes. Also, as you remove the tubes from the ...

Re: recommended to avoid excess spittle inside breath sensor
Playing style, tonguing style and angle of instrument matters. Tonguing should be done against roof of mouth behind the teeth, not against mouthpiece. NuRAD should be played at an angle of about 45 degrees or more (see videos of Masato Honda playing, he is holding it the right way). All this helps k...

Re: Playing D using RHS side key (#11), LHp1 (left pinky) does not properly sharp
As the NuRAD is of the EWI and Steinerphone family, it follows EWI fingering (and Akai EWI sax type fingering) down to every detail. That said, there is an extended version of the EWI fingering put in the NuRAD, called EWX. In EWX fingering the range is extended upwards by lifting LH1, and downwards...

Re: Does The NuEVI use embouchure lip buzzing?
The NuEVI does not use a embouchure lip buzz method. It has a breath sensor that detects breath amount (blowing into the mouthpiece). The standard mouthpiece (rubber type that is inserted into your mouth) has 3 sensors. Breath/Bite/Lip touch. This is the most expressive method for sound control. For...

Yes, the charging light is the one to go by to see if the charge is complete or not.

Re: Charging issues with the LiPo battery system
It seems you are referring to the new LP2 circuit. It will charge whenever USB is connected. Power modes are off, on, on+wl Charge current is small. Charging can be done from any USB jack, including computers. There is no orange light on the charge board. This is the Teensy light you are referring t...

Re: 4th octave is not playing
1. I’d check the nuts on the roller posts. Loose nut makes bad or no contact.
2. Check adjustment settings and monitor the sensor dots touching the rollers in order. (Lowest two are unconnected).
3. Check connector.
